The Lagally laboratory in the Michael Smith Laboratories at the University of British Columbia seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow for a funded research project on the microfluidic selection of molecular recognition reagents. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field and should not be more than 3 years from the receipt of their Ph.D. Desirable skills include experience with nucleic acid manipulations, affinity purification techniques, and microfabrication experience.
The anticipated start date is March 1, 2008.
Initial appointment will be for a period of one year with the opportunity for reappointment for up to two additional years. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
